**Jeonju University Holds Meeting Between President and International Students**

Jeonju University (President Jin-bae Park) announced that it held a "Meeting Between the University President and International Students" on the 13th, which included students from various countries.

The meeting was attended by President Jin-bae Park, Young-guk Shim, Director of the International Exchange Center, Hye-jin So, Director of the English Track Support Center, as well as representatives from different countries’ international student communities—about 20 people in total. Together, they discussed the students’ challenges in living, academics, and employment, while exploring various support measures.

Additionally, the university shared information with international students on scholarships, academic and employment support programs, housing, and living resources, exchanging ideas to provide practical assistance.

Le Hong Ban, a third-year Business Administration student who participated in the event, said, "This meeting was a valuable opportunity to openly share concerns and difficulties I’ve faced while studying abroad, and to empathize with the challenges other international students encounter. The answers and solutions provided by the university to our questions were very helpful, and I was deeply moved by the university's willingness to consider our feedback. This reinforced my positive view of Jeonju University’s support for international students, and I believe it will help me approach my studies and campus life more positively."

President Jin-bae Park stated, "Our university is making great efforts to help international students adapt smoothly to university life. We offer programs like the JJ-Friends Host Family Program and appoint dedicated teaching assistants for international students in each department to assist them in their studies. Through this meeting, we will continue to actively support international students through regular gatherings and various communication channels."

Meanwhile, Jeonju University is fostering global talent through diverse international programs and exchanges, providing a rich learning environment and support for international students. Additionally, the university works closely with the local community to help students successfully adapt and grow in Korea.
