Jeonju University Holds Completion Ceremony for Chinese and Vietnamese Exchange Students from Prestigious UniversitiesJeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) announced that it held a completion ceremony for 70 participants in the Chinese and Vietnamese prestigious university exchange student program. The International Affairs Office conducted the completion ceremony for the foreign students who successfully completed the Chinese and Vietnamese prestigious university exchange student program for the first semester of the 2024 academic year. The ceremony was held on the 12th at the Recital Hall of the Arts Center. The students participating in this ceremony were mostly enrolled in English track courses, with a total of 70 students completing the program. Throughout the semester, these students not only completed their major courses but also gained various experiences through community-linked club activities and cultural experiences. Shim Young-guk, Director of the International Affairs Office (Professor of Hotel Management), congratulated the students on their completion, stating, "I hope the university life and various experiences at our university will become a positive foundation and driving force for your future lives. I hope you cherish this valuable experience." Zhang Kaiwen, an art major student from Guilin University of Technology in China, shared his thoughts: "Life in Korea was incredibly diverse. During the half-year as an exchange student, I felt a great sense of accomplishment not only from the beneficial classes but also from traveling in Korea, cultural experiences, various club activities, and educational workshops. The warm attention and guidance from professors and teachers helped me adapt well. If given the chance, I would like to come back to Korea." Meanwhile, Jeonju University stated that it will further expand its English track courses to attract more outstanding foreign students from various countries and will strive to nurture global leaders. |
