Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) University Job Plus Center announced on the 11th that it held a digital job fair for content companies to foster human resources and strengthen employment capabilities in the Jeonbuk-type New Deal digital sector at JJ Art Hall and Yesulgwan.

The event, which was held to overcome employment difficulties and provide high-quality employment information to students, was organized by the Jeollabuk-do Contents Convergence Agency. With 8 companies participating, including Pastel Media, Toast Animation Studios, Funwave Inc., StarLike Inc., Infocus Inc., Actbuki Inc., and Delant Inc., employment support services were provided, including △ corporate briefing sessions △ field interviews △ job mentoring for current employees △ promotion of youth employment policies.

In particular, a total of 12 job interviews, including producers, programmers, and video production, were conducted at the fair, and job seekers' willingness and employment capabilities were enhanced through one-on-one consultations with current employees, including employment information from content companies in Jeonbuk, in line with the needs of companies and students.

Bae Ha-neul (a senior in the Department of Smart Media) who participated in the job fair said, "I first learned that there are numerous content companies in Jeollabuk-do, and I will successfully prepare for a job based on useful information obtained from current employees, especially through field interviews."

Lee Sang-haeng, director of the University Job Plus Center, said, "This digital job fair was a time to inform content companies in the province to young people and to link employment between current employees and job seekers. In the future, we will expand and operate programs that can actually help job seekers, such as providing job information in various industries, and strive to resolve job shortages in local companies and succeed in finding jobs for talented people. "

Meanwhile, Jeonju University Job Plus Center has recently continued to operate various programs for young job seekers in the region, including "Yeouido 2023 Fintech Camp," "JJ Business Council," "Job Education Program in Tourism," and "2023 Integrated Counseling Related Department Seminar," and is striving to promote employment of young people in the region.
