The Human Rights Film Festival, hosted by Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) Human Rights Center, was held on the evening of October 11 (Wednesday) on a wide lawn in front of Cheonjamgwan.

The film festival was a venue for a film festival with Jeonbuk residents as well as university members such as Jeonju University students and faculty members.

With the slogan of "Together, Learning, and Sharing," Sian Hader's 2021 release "CODA" was screened at the festival. Designed to improve various views on human rights and human rights sensitivity as part of the 2023 Ministry of Education's university human rights center proliferation support project, the film festival was held on a green lawn in the fall evening to join civic families.

Professor So Hyun-sung, head of the Human Rights Center, said, "CODA refers to a child born to deaf parents, and through this festival, it was designed to make a human rights-friendly culture that always cares and respects people around us beyond family and friends take root in the daily lives of our citizens beyond universities."

Students, faculty members, and citizens from nearby regions visited the outdoor screening site of Jeonju University's Cheonjamgwan Lawn to enjoy the film festival. The Human Rights Center provided warm cocoa, cup noodles, and blankets to participants to melt the chill of autumn night. In addition, in the "Camping Emotional Photo Zone," which was prepared together, festival participants left today's memories, and in the "Human Rights Playground Booth" operated by human rights supporters, it could access human rights-related content that had been inadvertently passed through play through play, which attracted the popularity of participants.

Meanwhile, the Jeonju University Human Rights Center plans to promote a variety of emotional human rights-related programs with university students and citizens through programs such as "Human Rights Travel" and "Human Rights Culture Festival" as well as the "Human Rights Film Festival."
