Jeonju University Job Plus Center, ‘Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Public Institution Recruitment Briefing’ held


Jeonju University(President Park Jin-bae) University Job Plus Center announced on April 6th(Saturday) that it hosted a “Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Public Institution Recruitment Briefing” at the Jeonju University Star Center No. 107. The event was attended by more than 60 students who are interested in working at public institutions in the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province.

The briefing session took place in the form of a relay from 9 AM to 5 PM. Working-level officials from seven public institutions in Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, including the Jeonbuk Bio Convergence Industry Promotion Agency and the Korea Food Industry Cluster Promotion Agency, participated to share information on job preparation that job seekers were curious about, such as on-site roles and recruitment procedures.

Kim Sun-ah, a fourth-year food nutrition student who attended the job briefing session for public institutions in Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, said, “I had a hard time preparing for employment because I only had a vague goal of securing a job at a public institution in the province, but this opportunity was very helpful.”

“I learned about various public institutions that I hadn’t usually come into contact with, and it was very beneficial as they explained in detail what the recruitment process was like for each institution,” said Kim Bum-chang, a fourth-year police student.

Shin Sook-kyung, head of the University Job Plus Center, mentioned, “The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province is additionally supporting the ‘Customized Talent Training Program for Public Institutions’ so that young people in our region can consider the pending issues necessary for regional development together and strengthen their motivation for employment.”
