Jeonju University Has Selected the Highest Number of Industry-Academic-Government

Coupling Projects for 10 Consecutive Years

 Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) announced on the 29th that it has been selected for a total of six courses in the “2024 University Industry-Academic Coupling Project” supported by Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Kwan-young) and has been selected for the most in 10 consecutive years among universities in the province.

 Jeonbuk Special Self-academic cooperation project is a project that starts from 2007 to establish a cooperative system, operated by universities and internshipment system and internship customized professional personnel-related personnel.

 Jeonju University selected the ▲ Culture and Tourism Content Education ▲ Regional-based ICT Management Education ▲ Living Lab-based cultural content education ▲ Carbon Technology Convergence Education ▲ ICT Convergence Smart City Education ▲ AI (Artificial Intelligence) curriculum in 2024, with a total project cost of 627 million won in 2024.

 In 2024, a total of 253 people from 15 departments will participate in the Jeonju University Coupling Project Group, and it aims to provide customized practical training and field training in connection with 350 companies and achieve an employment rate of more than 80% with the companies through employment contract-type programs.

 Kim Sang-jin, head of Jeonju University’s industry-academic cooperation group, said, “At the time of transition to a regional innovation-oriented university support system (RISE), we will continue to cultivate talented people who drive corporate growth through linkage and cooperation with industry-academic centers, lead industry-academic cooperation more, and move toward Glocal University.”
