Jeonju University Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jeonju High School


Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae, hereinafter referred to as Jeonju University) announced on June 3 (Monday) that it signed a business agreement with Jeonju High School (Principal Raguhan, hereinafter referred to as Jeonju High School) to cultivate creative talents and develop local communities.

The signing ceremony, held at Jeonju University’s main building, was attended by Jeonju High School’s principal, Raguhan, and the head of the school affairs department, So Jeong-won. Representing Jeonju University were eight officials, including President Park Jin-bae and Director of Admissions Lee Geun-ho.

The main points of this agreement include mutual cooperation between the two institutions to support education through initiatives such as ▲special lectures by experts in promising future industries ▲mentor-mentee support both online and offline ▲support for educational volunteer activities through student exchanges.

Through this agreement, it is expected that Jeonju High School students will receive support for creative activities and career exploration, enhancing their knowledge and skills in fields such as start-ups and food industries. Additionally, the collaboration aims to foster human resources tailored to industrial demand and contribute to community development through cooperation between the university and the high school.

Lee Geun-ho, head of the admissions department, who attended the signing ceremony, said, “Through this agreement, Jeonju University and Jeonju High School will maintain close cooperative relationships and further accelerate the cultivation of creative and future-oriented talents. We expect that the various programs and activities jointly promoted by the two institutions will have a positive impact on the local community and be of practical help to students.”

Moreover, Jeonju University is establishing a foundation for continuous cooperation with local governments, education offices, companies, and local high schools to develop local industries and foster talent.
