Jeonju University Museum Employees Donate ‘30 Million Won for Development Fund to School’

 Jeonju University (President Park Jin-bae) Museum staff held a ceremony today (30th) to deliver the development fund in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the school’s opening and to pray for the development of the school.

 The delivery ceremony took place on April 30(Tue) in the interview room on the 4th floor of the university’s main building. It was attended by 10 officials, including President Park Jin-bae, Museum Director Park Hyun-soo, Ok Chang-min, Park Eun-ji, Shin Joon-ho, Kang Eun-seo, and Ahn Jung-soo, a researcher of academic arts.

The museum staff who delivered the development fund were prepared to use the small contributions gathered from various fields of academic research, educational consignment, and exhibitions to develop schools and museums.

 Park Hyun-soo, director of the museum, who made the donation, said, “On the 60th anniversary of the school’s opening, I participated in the donation to contribute a little to the development of the local community and universities, and I hope it will be a cornerstone of Jeonju University for the next 100 years.”

President Park Jin-bae expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you for your dedication and initiative in the development of the school despite challenging circumstances. We will use the donation in a meaningful way.”

 Meanwhile, the Jeonju University Museum is responsible for various educational activities such as academic research on the cultural heritage of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, museum visits, and humanities education.
